My inspiration for this painting was what many of us dream of in our demanding busy lives… that everlasting peaceful afternoon to spend all by yourself with a good book, warm Spring breeze from an open window, and no interruptions… surrendering to a place to dream.Truth is, my daydreams were often far from reality.But, if I painted it, I could enjoy that “self time” feeling whenever I wanted.
