I began painting during a Christmas vacation in December of 1998 at the ripe old age of "40". I initially thought if I could just get the images in my head to radiate down through my hands, I could preview my dream world on canvas and would be satisfied with that. But the more I painted the more the canvas started to come to life and I found myself planning time to paint. After all, it is something I had wanted to do for years but had not had the spare time to do it.
After finishing my first painting, Calm of a Pristine Snowfall, I was anxious to begin another one. And so began a passion that takes me to places I may or may not see in my lifetime.
